Reflections on Rest
A huge thank you to Bérénice K. Schramm, PhD for giving me the opportunity to start 2023 #reflecting on 'Rest'.
For many years I resisted rest, burnt the 🕯 at both ends, but it caught up to me and forced me #stepoff the path I was on. To anyone who knows me, it probably doesn't surprise you that I'm not very good at sitting still - I'm writing this on a 🚂 , on my way to facilitate with Bastian Küntzel. 🤷🏽♀️ I did start the year in my tropical island home 🇱🇰 though , where I rested, rejuvenated and prepared for 2023!
I am painfully aware that rest shouldn't be a #privilege, but the reality is that it is for many. 👇🏾 What is your relationship to rest? Has it changed over time?
