Perceptions of Time

...for a long time, I didn't understand that we all actually perceive #time differently. To me, time was never something which required any perception. Time was time- linear and definite, minutes, hours, days.

‍

How naive and #ethnocentric I was (and can still be of course). I had a very fixed idea of what 'good timekeeping' was. I did see it as 'bad' to be late - and was firm in my belief that I saw time the 'right' way.

‍

I like to think I have come a long way in broadening my definition of time, and ability to appreciate that our different perspectives are what makes life interesting!

‍

How do you perceive time? Are you linear or flexible? Are you different from the stereotype of your country? And do you understand these beautiful clocks, pictured in Valletta, Malta?!
