Fidget Toys…

…and so we embark on another #learningjourney on Advancing Inclusion for global Senior Leaders, with my partner in food and facilitation Bastian.

Work in the fields of #dei and intercultural competences is often about leaning into the discomfort, and challenging parts of ourselves which are hardwired towards various biases. As someone with #ADD, I focus much better if I have something to keep my hands busy while I listen, (not while I facilitate). 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was thrilled to see #fidget toys on every table as we entered, and even more excited to see them being fiddled with throughout our session. 👇🏽 How do you feel about them? Are they distracting for you? Do you use them? Does the #playful nature detract from serious topics?
