Experience vs Event…
As a #dei trainer and facilitator, one of my biggest hopes is that each individual leaves one of my sessions with at least one of the following:
a) More self awareness
b) Insight into 'other' perspectives
c) More questions
We throw around the terms 'behaviour change' and '#transformation' - but as we are dealing with humans, every bit as #complex as you and I - the 'results' are not often immediately visible.
It is very difficult to quantify internal experiences, and have the vocabulary for it. I was thrilled to be a part of the School of Experience Design's foundation course, Pigalle Tavakkoli really took us (David Hernandez Pascual, Hannah Whitlow & Neil Payne) on a #journey, which is how I learn best.

👇🏾 What is the difference between an #experience and an #event for you? Which senses do you think we should make more use of? Have you been through an incredible training which led to 'true transformation'? Can you really 'experience' a situation which you have never been in? Let me know! 💭 💡
