Enough is Enough

…until a few months ago I had never been to a #protest. And to be honest I wasn’t sure if they were particularly effective.

Today the people of #srilanka thankfully proved me very wrong. As the situation unfolds, all I can do is wait and hope that things start to get better for my island home. Geopolitics is complex and the road ahead is long - but today Sri Lankans all over the world have agreed #enoughisenough.

National pride is complicated for mixed mongrels like myself - but today I was proud to be standing amongst Sri Lankans, honorary Lankans, random tourists and well-wishers on the Dam Square in #Amsterdam, 🇳🇱 .

All those at home 🇱🇰- please stay safe. This #nepocracy has no shame.
