Decolonisation

...for me, #decolonisation is not an academic pursuit. It is not a metaphor, nor is it a box-checking exercise.

As a DEI Trainer, I work on a wide variety of topics across many sectors. Some of the most rewarding work for me is in the humanitarian sector, exploring how decolonisation could, and should, look in practice. I found the article below quite insightful, particularly around the limits of neutrality. Personally, I constantly remind myself that being 'neutral' or allowing myself to look away from world events when they get 'too much' is a huge #privilege. One which I don't take for granted.
